Chelsea Tyagi is a children’s picture book author and mom, creating stories inspired by her family and life on the Choctaw Nation Reservation. She balances writing with family time, outdoor adventures, and creative projects.

Chelsea is an enrolled tribal member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, a Yale graduate, and a 2023 We Need Diverse Books Walter Dean Myers Grant recipient. 

She is represented by Sara Megibow at Megibow Literary.
